The Spelling Bee is here and participants from various schools of the island including sister island Caye Caulker gathered at the San Pedro Lions Den on Monday, February 16 to support their classmates at the spelling bee. First Place winner, to represent San Pedro at the National Spelling Bee, was Alyssa Arceo of Island Academy; Second Place winner was Nalini Chi of New Horizon School and the Third Place alternate was Andreina Acosta of San Pedro RC School.
