Ramon's Village Fancy Fence

For quite some time, since renovations started at Ramon's Village, people were wondering what will the final look of the resort's fence would be like. It was one of the last things Ramon's Village tackled in their $1Mil renovation project and a couple weeks back the fence was finally complete. WOW! We think it looks great!

Ramon's employee Fidel wanted his picture taken :)

Dorian's Angels @ Pineapples Restaurant

There are a handful of places that stand iconic to the growth and development of the island and Ramon’s Village is definitely in that handful. Catering to all the needs of visitors to San Pedro has always been top priority for the resort and tied in with this service is that of providing an amazing culinary experience.

Dorian’s Angels had their sweet taste buds tingled this past weekend as they visited Pineapples Restaurant, Ramon’s Village newly revamped restaurant that is boasting a new and exciting menu. And they have lots to be boastful about, as the new items on the menu are exquisite. Chef Rommy Kie and his sous chefs have outdone themselves, infusing pineapples to their dishes, creating a sweet heavenly and blissful dining experience. Giant Squid found at Esmeralda Canyons.

First a whale....and now a squid! whats next?

Ambergris Today was called to Ramon's Village Dive Center as divers Andy Kerr and Palma found a dead squid while on a dive trip at Esmeralda Canyons.

The squid had missing tentacles which divers believe was eaten by a shark. The squid measures 3ft in length but with tentacles it may have been another three to five feet longer.

Tourists gather at the dock to see the giant squid.
