Weekend Graduations

Holy Cross Graduates

On Sunday, June 20, thirty-five students graduated from Holy Cross Anglican Primary School. Mrs. Carol Babb, former General Manager of the Anglican Schools and currently the Deputy Chief Education Officer, was the guest speaker. Mrs. Babb told the graduates that there were great possibilities for their future, but they must remember to be self-disciplined and determined, and they would have to make sacrifices in order to excel.

Mrs. Grace Williams, Principal, and Mrs. Francis Wilson, Local Manager, also had praise for the graduates and words of wisdom. Rosa Lopez (Valedictorian), Zoila Canek and Ethel Villatoro were the top students in the 2009-2010 Standard VI class.

Twenty-five students received scholarships that will allow them to attend high school. The majority of the scholarships were funded through a very generous donation from Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Kingwood, Texas.

Representatives from the church were on hand to meet the graduates and to present the scholarships.

ACES Graduates Three

Ambergris Caye Elementary School held its Graduation Commencement Exercises on Friday, June 18 at the R. Angel Nuñez Auditorium where three graduates received their diplomas: Brandon Ramirez (Valedictorian) on right, David Verralls on left (Salutatorian) and Vivel Rodriguez (Vote of Thanks) in center.

Other schools that held their graduation ceremonies over the weekend included San Pedro Roman Catholic Primary School and Little Angels Pre School.

SPHS Grads 2010

San Pedro High School held its Graduation Mass and Commencement Exercises on Saturday, June 12, at the R. Angel Nuñez Auditorium where 50 graduates were in attendance to receive their diplomas. It was a great program marking the culmination of studies for a very proud group of seniors of San Pedro High.

Parents Night
Parents Night for the San Pedro High School Graduates was held on Wednesday, June 9, where a special program was dedicated to the the parents of the graduates with special awards distributed to students, parents and teachers.

New Horizon's Graduates

New Horizon's Seventh Day Adventist School held its graduation ceremony yesterday, June 25, at the school compound. Javier Williams was the valedictorian in the graduating class of 21 students.

ABC Pre-School Parents Night

ABC Pre School celebrated Parents Night with the graduating class of 2009 last night at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium. Parents were delighted with wonderful presentations from their children. There was plenty of singing, dancing and games for everybody enjoy.

San Pedro High School Graduation 2009

Fifty six graduates walked down the aisle to receive their diplomas at last night’s San Pedro High School Graduation ceremony. The Rafael Angel Nuñez Auditorium was packed to capacity with family, friend and invited guests for the event. Invited guest speaker was Mr. Jose ‘Elito’ Arceo.
