Actor Anthony Anderson Confirmed for Film Festival

Anthony Anderson, American actor, comedian, and writer has been confirmed to be present at during the Belize International Film Festival, from July 17 to the 19. He will also be present in San Pedro on July 17 when the Film Festival reaches San Pedro for a White Night at the Paradise Theater, Reef Village. Anthony Anderson has starred in his own sitcom “All About the Andersons”, as well as the Fox sitcom “The Bernie Mac Show” during the fifth and final season of the show. He is also known for his leading roles in television dramas such as K-Ville, The Shield and Law & Order. He has also had supporting roles in films such as Transformers, The Departed, and Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London.

Actor Michael Jai White Visits Island

Michael Jai White came to Belize for the Belize International Film Festival. Before leaving to the U.S. he was invited by Hon. Manuel Heredia Jr., Minister of Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation, to tour La Isla Bonita. His visit will be short but he will have time to enjoy lunch at the famous Elvi's Kitchen. Here he is arriving at the Maya Island Air terminal and being greeted "Island Styly" by a barefoot Hon. Heredia. White's latest role is portraying the mob boss 'Gambol' in the Batman Begins sequel The Dark Knight. He is also starring in the film Blood and Bone and the blaxploitation homage Black Dynamite which is slated for a 2009 release.
