Lime's Alcohol Cook Off

It was another successful and great Cook Off that took place on Friday, May 14, at the Lime Bar & Grill. Alcohol was the key ingredient that was necessary for those who entered their dishes in the culinary competition. And indeed the entries did not fail to impress as they were all finger licking good. Jamila Janmohamed took first place with her Chicken in Coffee and Kahlua which won her an iPod Shuffle and $450.00Bze for which she donated to the San Pedro Seadogs football team. Second place went to Laura Sutton with her stuffed Pork in Vodka and Tomato sauce and Matt King placed third with his Beef Bourguignon. It was another successful cook off so now onto the next one, June 12 with dishes under the theme “Mediterranean”. See you there!

Lime's Asian Cook Off

We were Pretty bummed out that we could not make it to this month’s Lime Cook Off as the fundraiser events at there are always fun. But nevertheless, Lime held an Asian Cook Off this past Friday where participants were busy cooking up a storm all week to compete with each other. Lime reports that it was a great night with $510.00 raised on the food and $205.00 raised on the raffle for Saga. At the end of the night people voted on two winners Tanya Mejia and Chap Ross who shared the prize winnings. For more visit Boydie’s Belize Blog.
