It's a bright and sunny day in San Pedro, but can you believe that it's a brisk 75 degrees out there? We know it is still winter in the north, but the weather is unusually cold and islanders were not expecting this chilly weather after the New Year. Last night the temperature dipped to an "arctic" 65 degrees f. While some residents whip out the sweater and wind breakers, we see some tourists in swimsuits and walking down the streets in T-shirts and shorts!

Happy New Year to All
If you are wondering why there have not been any blog posts since Christmas Eve, its because Ambergris Today has been on vacations since. We took the Holidays to take a break from the heavy schedule we had. So there is no issue of the paper for this week or website updates. We will be back in office on Monday, January 4, 2010, with our first publication of the New Year on Thursday, January 7. Thanks for all the support during the past year!
