Cancer Society Host Successful Blood Drive

A Blood Drive was held on Saturday, September 4, that was hosted by the San Pedro Cancer Society that joined forces with the Belize National Blood Transfusion Service. The successful drive to collect much needed blood was carried out to assist two individuals undergoing surgeries and medical treatment. The San Pedro Cancer Society extends gratitude to all those who donated blood and helped with the drive and a special thanks to Tropic Air for donating the airfare for the four individuals of the Belize National Blood Transfusion Service who collected the blood.

Cancer Society Fundraiser a Success!

The newly formed San Pedro Cancer Society held its Dollar Drive Fundraiser on Saturday, July 17, with a food sale and donation drive. The society has deemed their fund raising a success in securing enough money to officially register their name as a Non Profit Organization in Belize.
