The coronation of Miss San Pedro 2010 and a Uniform Parade took place on Friday, September 10, in San Pedro as part of National Day (St. George's Caye Day). Natasha Stuart, Miss San Pedro 2010, lead the parade that culminated at the Old Football Field where the San Pedro Town Council distributed cold treats and goodies to the school children.
Natasha Stuart has been selected as the new Miss San Pedro 2010 at the pageant that took place on Saturday, September 4 where five other contestants graced the stage with their elegance, charm and beauty. It was a night of underwater enchantment as the theme for this year's pageant was "Enchanting and Magical - Our Belizean Barrier Reef".
Geli Nuñez came in as 1st Runner Up, while Genny Rhaburn was nominated Miss Congeniality; Natasha Stuart also won Miss Photogenic. The new Miss San Pedro will be crowned at official ceremonies this Friday at the 10th September Celebrations. (More on Thursday's edition of Ambergris Today)

But Raquel Badillo is not working for Ambergris Today under the capacity of Miss San Pedro, she is interning with the #1 Newspaper in town as she completes her office practice duties as a Fourth Form student at San Pedro High School. We are privileged to have Miss Badillo working with us for three weeks as she learns the ins and outs of the journalism profession.
