A group of thirty students and two teachers from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland are here in San Pedro on a Fishing and Diving Trip. The group will be embarking on a beach cleanup at the Turtle Nesting at Robles Point as well as having several sporting activities with San Pedro High School.
McDaniel College is a four year private liberal arts college in Westminster, Maryland and has special accreditations for its Chemistry, Social Work and Teacher Education programs. The group has been coming to the island since 2001 and every year they have made it a commitment to clean up the beach here in San Pedro. Kudos to the team for having San Pedro at heart and for helping keep our island clean.
