At about 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, a group of 13 Cuban refugees landed on San Pedro on the beach side in front of Holiday Hotel and as usual the first to arrive at the scene was the island’s #1 Newspaper, Ambergris Today Newspaper. Police then transported the group to the police station where, according to sources, they received medical attention and were given food and clothing.
