Residents arrived to the office of Ambergris Today this week to express concern over dead fish that are popping up along Marina Drive, just beyond the DFC Area, south of town. Dead Stone Bass, Mullet, Snook and Tarpon line the side of the road in the water ways and canals. We were informed that water samples were taken and sent for testing abroad in order to figure out what is happening to the fish and possibly the entire mangrove area. We will have more information on this situation as it becomes available to us.
