Streets Start Getting Needed Attention

People have been calling the radio morning show for two weeks now, complaining about the horrible conditions of the streets. The rains have not stopped for two weeks straight and streets in the residential areas of the island have been getting a beating.

It was not until this week Tuesday that the San Pedro Town Council was able to alleviate the
problem as they obtained hardcore (sand and rock mix) from the mainland in order to fill the huge puddles around the entire islands.

Not all has been fixed, as the rain continues, but some relief is good relief. We understand that we cannot blame the Town Council for the conditions of the streets, but many are just venting out their frustrations. We thank the Town Council for listening to the cries of the people.

Poor Debbie, she has to take off her shoes in order to get home!
