Costa Maya Delegates Enjoy Day in the City

Ambergris Today was at hand when the delegates of the Costa Maya Pageant arrived in Belize City, yesterday, August 1st. The four contestants who arrived early in the morning toured the city and were hosted by Riverside Tavern for dinner and a cocktail mixer.

Early the next day they were hosted by both KREM Radio and Love FM in their morning television show and then visited the City Council and were greeted by both Mayor Zenaida Moya and Deputy Mayor Anthony Michael. The rest of the day included a photo shoot and lunch at Harbor View Restaurant. All eight contestants from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Belize are now in San Pedro where they will be hosted by the Lions Club at a dinner and cocktail party called Noche Sanpedrana. Their busy schedule leading up pageant night on Thursday, August 7, starts now!
