Super Buy South Opens its Doors

Super Buy Grocery Store in downtown San Pedro opened the doors to Super Buy South, an extension of their store for the southern part of the island. The grand opening took place on Saturday, December 19 with lots of give-aways, raffle tickets with purchases and product samplings. The new store boasts the same great deals and convenient shopping as the downtown store; Super Buy South is located on Seagrape Drive just before The Villas at Banyan Bay.

Today's Sunrise

Here is today's shot of early morning San Pedro. There is a light cool breeze blowing from the north, the seas are very calm and the beach is picture perfect. Another beautiful day in Paradise. Much to be thankful for.

Dorian's Angels at La Playa Lounge

Dorian’s Angels were invited to have lunch at La Playa Lounge and we were more than delighted to be there. The Angels are not used to being served; we like to get hands on experience whenever we can and prepare things for ourselves, so we headed straight to the bar to prepare our own drinks under the supervision of bartender “Shaggy”. Mojitos anyone? I helped prepare a delicious frozen Mojito for Delsie and a mango Mojito for myself. Pearl loves sweet drinks so she made a purple parrot and a banana daiquiri for our photographer Gerry. Read more HERE!

Once again, San Pedro came out in the thousands to celebrate Belize's Independence. It was colorful, vibrant and very energetic Independence Day Parade that took to the streets of San Pedro Town on Monday, September 21.

On the Eve of Independence

On the eve of Independence, September 20, 2009, the San Pedro Town Council held its official flag-raising ceremony at Central Park where a Block Party was held to bring in Belize's Independence with much fun, food, music, fire works and celebrations. Happy Independence Day to all Belizeans!
