Ambergris Today and Periodico Por Esto

 Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Gerry just came back from a long trip to Merida, Yucatan, were he got the opportunity to visit the offices and press shop of the highly distributed Mexican Por Esto Newspaper. He was given a tour of the place and learned how things run over there with a daily publication. Here he is with a copy of the Por Esto Newspaper and his cousin Romario with a copy of Ambergris Today which he took for his family to read up on San Pedro.

The Gomez Family just came back from their family vacation to California, USA where they visited Star Nuñez and delivered her the newest edition of Ambergris Today Newspaper (not that she is not a subscriber). Here is the gang with Star on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.

Easter Weekend Kicks Off!

We took some pictures during delivery today as we noticed that the island is already in "Easter Mode" . Island activity has kicked up a notch as people flock to La Isla Bonita for some fun in the sun. Happy Easter to Everyone!

AT Editor Addresses Island Academy

Yesterday I had the privilege to address the student body of The Island Academy during their morning assembly. I was invited to talk about myself and Ambergris Today Newspaper. It was a very fulfilling experience as the students were very interested and had so many questions on how the newspaper operates and all the inner workings of the business. They had very intellectual questions and seemed to enjoy themselves, as did I. Thank you Teacher Helen for inviting me to your morning assembly; it was my pleasure to have addressed the students of The Island Academy. I had a great time. – Dorian Nuñez

The Ambergris Today Team!

In the spirit of Halloween, the Ambergris Today Team hit the streets today, delivery day, all dressed up in different sports uniforms. All different uniforms but one solid team. Happy Halloween Everybody!

Cristian Castro Causes a Commotion

It was a mob scene much like the Hollywood Paparazzi chasing after Britney Spears, as Cristian Castro made his arrival to the Isla Bonita this afternoon on board the Reef Rocket of Discovery Expeditions. One of the most gigantic crowds, ever, littered the beach in front of Cholo’s Sports Bar as people wanted to get their first glance at the international artist. Cristian’s escorts had the terrible task of attempting to disperse the sea of people in order for Cristian to make it to his golf cart. He was escorted to his hotel room immediately after. Cristian is scheduled to perform at the Costa Maya Festival tonight, August 8.
