Miss Teenager Belize Extends Thanks

Warm greetings to everyone,

Belize was promoted in El Salvador as the top tourism destination and the most pleasant tropical paradise, containing a diversity of Cultures which welcomes all to visit. I am writing a personal note to thank in addition to congratulate everyone. Even though it was Belize’s first time in history, we came in second on online voting popularity and won the award at the Miss Teenager Universe 2009 of Miss Photogenic!

I would like to thank those who voted and supported me in representing Belize. Thank you to all Friend, my manger Nancy Marin, Deangela Woolley, family and to all fellow Belizeans. Miss Teenager Pageant 2009

Belize Wins Miss Photogenic at Miss Teenager

Belize representative, Daniella Wooley, was awarded Miss Photogenic at the Miss Teenager 2009 that took place over the weekend. Fifteen-year-old Laura Baez from the Dominican Republic became the winner of the 2nd edition of the Miss Teenager pageant held at the Sheraton Presidente Hotel in San Salvador, El Salvador, on October 15th. The 21 teenage beauties competed for the coveted title in several categories including interviews, national costumes, swimsuits and gowns.

Results: Yinela Yero (Panama, 3rd runner-up), Yohana Gonzalez (Isla Margarita, 1st runner-up), Laura Baez (Dominican Republic, Winner), Alejandra Castano (Colombia, 2nd runner-up) and Ruth Mora (Venezuela, 4th runner-up)

Belize has a representative at the Miss Teenager Pageant that will take place on October 15, at San Salvador, El Salvador. We have a chance to vote for the Belize contestant Daniela Wolley on an online competition. Please click on the picture above to vote for Miss Belize Teenager 2009.

MISS TEENAGER 09

The contest –now in its second edition, 2009- will feature beautiful young ladies from all over the world who will arrive in El Salvador beginning October 9th. They will travel across the country as part of an agenda of activities organized by the local organization, government institutions and diplomatic groups from “El Pulgarcito de America” –America’s Tiny Country-, host country for the year 2009.

The event is being produced under the supervision of Mr. Tony Berganza, owner of the contest, and the direction of Yesenia Mena, from the advertising company Young and Rubicam.

The Final Gala will take place on Thursday, October 15th and will be taped and broadcasted by Channel 12, during a majestic event, with the direction of famous Venezuelan director Luis Anguizones, and the contestants will wear outfits by Salvadorean designer Carlos Herrera.

The successor of Peruvian Lorelei Cornejo –our 2008 winner-, will take the crown valued in USD $1000.00, a cash prize of $4000.00 and another $4000.00 in prizes from our sponsors.
